Party in Paradise is Big Waters Land Trust’s premier annual evening celebration and one of two signature fundraising events supporting our mission to protect land and water for the benefit of people and nature. Hosted at the beautiful Bay Preserve on Little Sarasota Bay, this unforgettable waterfront event welcomes approximately 300 conservation-minded guests, including community leaders, philanthropists, and outdoor enthusiasts. Guests enjoy an evening of passed hors d’oeuvres, gourmet food stations, desserts, live music, dancing, and engaging conservation-focused experiences, all while learning about the lasting impact of land and water conservation in our region.

Feast Upon the Fields is Big Waters Land Trust’s signature annual farm-to-table fundraiser, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the impact of conservation firsthand. Each year, more than 300 guests gather beneath a beautifully appointed tent for an unforgettable luncheon featuring locally sourced, seasonal ingredients prepared by talented regional chefs. Set against the backdrop of a breathtaking conserved landscape, the experience highlights the connection between conservation, local agriculture, and our community.

WILD ABOUT NATURE
Join us for a fun-filled day on the shore of Little Sarasota Bay as Wild About Nature returns to Bay Preserve. This FREE community festival brings neighbors, families, and nature-lovers together to celebrate all things outdoors in one of our region’s most beautiful coastal settings. Not-for-profits and community organizations from across the region will join Big Waters Land Trust onsite at Bay Preserve, offering nature-based activities the whole family will enjoy. From tree-climbing to nature printing, kayaking to wildlife ID, this annual event invites everyone to connect with the land, the water, and each other.
With food trucks, special presentations, and live music, it’s a day you won’t want to miss.
