Whitney Johnson is the Database and Donor Stewardship Administrator at Big Waters Land Trust. In this role, she manages the organization’s donor database, ensuring the accuracy of records, gift processing, and reporting. She also oversees donor stewardship efforts, including acknowledgments and engagement strategies that build lasting relationships with supporters. Whitney uses data-driven insights to support fundraising campaigns and donor retention, bridging technology and human connection to drive meaningful impact.
With a strong background in nonprofit leadership, program management, and community development, Whitney brings a strategic, mission-driven approach to her work. Her passion for conservation is deeply rooted in her personal experiences—spending time outdoors with her family and dogs, traveling to natural landscapes, and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the balance between development and stewardship.
Outside of work, Whitney enjoys reading to her daughter, exploring nature with her dogs, and traveling with her family.
