Nilyana Rodriguez is the Digital Content and Design Specialist at Big Waters Land Trust. In this role, she creates impactful visual materials that support outreach, advocacy, and fundraising initiatives. Nilyana ensures that every piece—from event promotions to educational resources—reflects the organization’s mission to conserve land and connect people to nature. Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Nilyana has a deep appreciation for the region’s unique landscapes and rich culture. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of South Florida. Before joining Big Waters, she gained diverse experience working as a designer in industries including publishing, restaurants, and hospitality, honing her skills in branding, packaging, and marketing collateral development. Nilyana is passionate about using her creative talents to make a positive impact. Outside of work, she enjoys thrifting/antiquing, traveling, and experimenting with new creative projects.
