You protect what you love. I love the great outdoors, all of it, our natural systems of forests, waterways, open skies, mountains, and even all that goes on underneath our feet. In 2016, I decided I could do my part by buying a 1,100-acre ranch on the Myakka River and with the help of Big Waters Land Trust, conserve the property so that even beyond my lifetime, this land will stay natural. Today, I serve on the board of several environmentally-focused organizations and see my role as a connector building relationships among all.
