Carol spent nearly forty years as an advancement officer at colleges and major universities – including Carnegie Mellon and Duquesne University — culminating at the University of Pittsburgh where she was Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement responsible for fundraising, communications and alumni relations. Her “retirement” career was as a ten-year elected Commissioner and Chair, City of Anna Maria, Florida. Now, Carol is using her agricultural background and UF Master Gardener certification to tend a garden and steward a small farm complete with two miniature donkeys.
