Angelena Papazian is the Events Coordinator at Big Waters Land Trust. In this role, she coordinates the logistics of both small- and large-scale events that support community engagement, outreach, and conservation efforts. Angelena helps bring people together through meaningful experiences that connect them to nature and the organization’s mission.
Angelena is passionate about protecting outdoor spaces that have provided her with healing and sanctuary, ensuring they remain accessible for others and future generations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, as well as a Master of Social Work, and brings a strong background in the mental health field to her work.
Angelena values being fully present in nature, finding clarity, comfort, and inspiration through the natural world. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, traveling, exploring new places, journaling, learning new subjects, and spending time with loved ones. She also has a creative interest in embroidery and Reiki.
