Featuring a collection of her recent works, Lauren Marshall’s new exhibit, The Keystone Connection, highlights the wild beauty of the Gulf Coast. These moments remind Lauren why keystone species matter—not just for the ecosystem, but for the memories they make possible through her artwork.
Lauren is a Florida-based fine artist inspired by the joy, color, and wild beauty of the coast. She studied the masters’ painting techniques in Paris and Rome—creating master copies inside the Louvre Museum—before graduating from Ringling College of Art + Design. Lauren began her creative career working with brands like Pottery Barn, Martha Stewart, and Williams Sonoma in Silicon Valley before returning to Florida to focus full-time on her art. She now paints daily in her treehouse studio, fueled by sunshine, salt air, and her two little boys. Through this exhibit she hopes to share that same sense of wonder—and the connection she feels between all living things on this beautiful coast. From true keystones like mangroves, gopher tortoises, and oysters, to comeback stories like the roseate spoonbill, these species—and many more—are celebrated in this collection.
Join us for the opening reception of the exhibit on Wednesday, October 8, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served and the artist will be onsite to answer questions about her work. Artwork will be available for sale with Lauren Marshall generously donating a portion of the proceeds to Big Waters Land Trust to protect Southwest Florida’s land and water.
Please RSVP below if you plan to attend. We hope to see you there!
The exhibit will be on display October 9, 2025, through January 12, 2026, and may be viewed M-F, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please call our office at 941-918-2100 with questions and for holiday hours.
