That’s over 31 square miles of natural lands protecting our waterways, providing critical habitat for animals and plant survival, and giving us natural space to explore, experience, and enjoy.
Our powerful team of a dozen is agile and strategic, working together to grow our conservation community and develop creative solutions to saving the most important natural lands across five counties – Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, Lee, and Collier.

LAND PROTECTION COORDINATOR
Big Waters Land Trust is seeking a Land Protection Coordinator! A successful candidate will be help initiate and respond to opportunities for conservation, communicate directly with land owners, and participate in negotiations for donations or purchases of land and conservation easements that will advance Big Waters Land Trust’s mission to protect land and water in Southwest Florida for the benefit of humans and nature. Starting salary – $55,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include PTO, medical, 401k, and optional dental, vision, and supplemental insurance, and working with a diverse, committed, and productive team.
