We are a dedicated team of professionals with a passion for working hard to save natural lands, forever. Founded in 2003, Big Waters has protected more than 20,000 acres across 60 properties. That’s over 31 square miles of natural lands protecting our waterways, providing critical habitat for animals and plant survival, and giving us natural space to explore, experience, and enjoy.
Our powerful team of a dozen is agile and strategic, working together to grow our conservation community and develop creative solutions to saving the most important natural lands across five counties – Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, Lee, and Collier.
