Big Waters Land Trust invites the community to enjoy nature and family-friendly trivia

OSPREY, FL (July 23, 2025) Big Waters Land Trust, formerly Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast, is excited to announce the return of summer trivia at Bay Preserve. This year the non-profit land trust is bringing back their annual summer trivia with a twist -a one-night-only, winner-takes-all event! The free community event will take place at Big Waters’ Bay Preserve headquarters in Osprey from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on August 1, 2025. Participants can expect a wide range of questions touching on topics including movies, music, fashion, and more, with a conservation theme woven throughout. Trivia begins at 6:00 pm.

Each team can have up to eight members, and multi-generational teams are encouraged. The winning team will take home a prize package, including their choice of a private guided hike or a kayak outing for up to ten people with a member of the Big Waters’ education team, plus bragging rights until next summer!

Killik’s Kitchen will be onsite with tasty offerings available for purchase that the whole family will enjoy. The public is invited to come watch, play, or simply enjoy nature and food with family and friends. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and/or lawn chairs to sit upon for this outdoor, picnic-style gathering. In the event of rain, the trivia component will be moved to an area under cover. Learn more and RSVP at bigwaterslandtrust.org/trivia25
